Zoe:
In order for ShipCompliant to generate reports in each state where you do business, we need to know how you file. Do you e-file or do you paper file? Do you file monthly or do you file quarterly? In the next couple minutes, I'll walk you through how to specify what reports you want us to generate for you.

Zoe:
To begin, locate the compliance tab and scroll down to your wizard. This is going to be either the direct wizard or the wholesale wizard, depending on your subscription. The steps are going to be the same. Next, go to the report frequencies step on the left-hand side of the wizard. This page will show you what reports you need based on where you've told us you ship in step two. If the page is blank, it means one of two things. One, you haven't told us where you ship. So take a break and go and fill out step two of the wizard, or number two, the page is blank because you've already subscribed to all your reports and now they live under your report settings.

Zoe:
So if it's not blank and you see reports here, navigate to a report and open the dropdown under available subscriptions. Here, select the frequency with which you want the report generated. If you don't want a report generated, simply select, "I do not need this report." An asterisk beside the report indicates which frequency is the most common across our clients. It can be used as the default if you're unsure of your frequency. Additionally, if you don't know your frequency, refer to the reports you have previously filed or contact the state. Once you've completed this action for each report, click the green Apply button.

Zoe:
To manage previously applied report frequencies, click the link manage your report frequencies here. This will take you to the report settings, which can always be found under your Reports tab. In this view, we'll give you a list of all available reports, including the ones you've subscribed to, and those will be noted in black. So it's also easy to see where e-file reports are available. A gray computer icon indicates an e-file option is available for the report. A black icon indicates that the e-file option has already been selected. Here, you'll see that you can also click and download any of the available reports at any time. Now you know how to manage your report frequencies.
