Manually override age checks

ShipCompliant’s automatic age verification providers can’t always match your customer’s info to an of-age person in their database. You can manually override an unsuccessful age verification if this is the case. Deciding to override will not result in a vendor charge.

Read the following to learn how to override a failed-result age verification by searching either for a name or a location.

  1. In ShipCompliant, go to Tools, then select Age Verification.

  3. Enter the customer’s name or address, or choose a state or location to search.
  4. Click Search Customers.
  5. Select the checkbox next to the person(s) whose age you’d like to verify manually.
    • If there is an orange exclamation mark under the Is Of Age column, the age of that specific customer is not verified.
    • If there is a green check mark under the Is Of Age column, the customer's age is already verified.
