Label registration compliance failures

While checking for compliance, compliance failures sometimes come up. Label Registration Required rules are among the more common failed compliance checks. To fix the failure, add a verified registration record.

  1. Read the failure message carefully. At the end of the message, you’ll see the product SKU and associated label, as well as an explanation of the failure.

  2. If a product is missing a label, go to the Setup tab and click Products.

  3. Click Edit next to the product that is missing a label.

  4. In the Label field, start typing the name of the label that belongs to the product, select the appropriate label, then click Save.

  5. If a product already has an associated label, go to Setup, then click Label Reg.

  6. Make sure to check the following:
    • The label in question is registered in all states where your orders are shipping to;
    • The effective date is on or before the date of your order;
    • The license type is correct and applicable to your order;
    • The registration status is Approved.
