The process for renewing a label registration varies from state to state. For most states, you'll need to send label registration renewals to the state, and then update your registration information in ShipCompliant. Your first step when renewing is always to submit your renewal application, following the state process, and have it approved.
Once you have renewed your state label registration, input the new registration information into your ShipCompliant account.
- In ShipCompliant, go to Registrations and click State - Existing.
- Find the label registration you want to work with. Click to the right of the label information.
- Input your new registration information. You can update approval status and date, and upload an approval letter if you wish. Click Save when you're done.

PRO renewals
ShipCompliant partners with some states to provide expedited workflows for label registration renewals. These partnering PRO (Product Registration Online) states are:
- Arkansas
- Louisiana
- Minnesota
- New York
- Oklahoma
- South Dakota
If PRO renewals are included in your subscription, you'll be able to access these states' label registration renewal portals directly from your ShipCompliant account. PRO renewals sync back into your account automatically, and you'll pay a flat rate rather than one-off technology fees for each renewal.
- In ShipCompliant, go to Registrations, then click PRO Renewals.
- Click the state with which you want to renew your registration, then click the license associated with that registration. ShipCompliant will show all the applicable state licenses that you've added to your account.
- In the state renewal portal, follow the state process to renew your registrations. Some states have limited renewal periods, while others process renewals year-round. State fees will be due upon renewal. Technology fees are waived.
- Once you've renewed your registrations with PRO, they will sync back into your ShipCompliant account automatically. You do not need to update the registration's information manually.
